L’Aquila, 18 September (LaPresse) – A 50-year-old man and his 14-year-old son will be questioned today as persons of interest in the abuse of a 12-year-old girl who was allegedly raped in Sulmona (L’Aquila) since 2023, forcing her to have sexual relations under threat of posting videos online. The 50-year-old man, concerned about some of his son’s chat and telephone conversations, contacted the Carabinieri and his statements could clarify several aspects of this terrible case. There are currently three suspects: a 14-year-old, who cannot be charged for the period when the abuse of the girl allegedly began, and the other two, who are accused of producing sexually explicit videos. They are a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old who are charged with aggravated sexual assault and child pornography. One of the minors is defended by lawyer Raffaella D’Amario, who stressed that the role of her client, the 17-year-old, is marginal. The other two are defended by lawyers Alessandro Margiotta and Alessandro Scelli.
