Flotilla, Crosetto: ‘Do not force the blockade and do not put lives at risk’

Rome, 25 September (LaPresse) – “It remains essential that the flotilla does not attempt to force the blockade: putting human lives at risk in waters where it would not be possible to intervene to rescue them would make no sense and would entail unnecessary dangers. As I reiterated to Parliament, repetita iuvant, both the Embassy and the Israeli Defence Staff were informed in advance and are in constant contact to monitor any possible problems. Likewise, every action and decision is coordinated with the Foreign Ministry.” This was stated in a note by Defence Minister Guido Crosetto.
