Gaza strike, two minors under house arrest without school

Milan, 25 September. (LaPresse) – The two minors, arrested for clashes in Milan during the strike in solidarity with Gaza, have had their arrest confirmed by the Juvenile Court judge and ‘will be placed under house arrest, without even being able to go to school’. ‘A surreal situation’. This is what lawyer Mirko Mazzali, who together with his colleague Guido Guella is representing the two minors, high school students in Milan, told LaPresse. “Decisions are not commented on, they are appealed, and we will appeal them, also because we do not understand the rationale, given that the two adults are charged with the same conduct” of aggravated resistance, with the judge’s decision to require them to sign in. “I have been a solicitor for 35 years and I have never seen anything like this. The two boys – both 17 years old and in their fourth year of classical high school at Carducci – ‘have just found out and they are not doing well. No one,” he concludes, “has taken it well”.
