Defence, ‘Crosetto in excellent condition, surgery planned, already back at work’

Milan, 8 October. (LaPresse) – Defence Minister Guido Crosetto ‘is in excellent condition following surgery performed this morning at the Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Rome and is already back at work. The surgery had been planned for some time but was repeatedly postponed and was not performed on an emergency basis.’ This was announced by the Defence Ministry regarding the surgery undergone by the minister. “This morning at 7 a.m.,” the Ministry continued, ‘at the Fatebenefratelli Hospital, the Minister underwent tests that involved the removal of some polyps and samples for analysis, but without any cause for concern, while last Saturday he underwent cardiological tests at the Montezemolo polyclinic in Rome. At the Fatebenefratelli hospital, the Minister was treated by Professor Guido Costamagna and Dr Milutin Bulajic. At the Montezemolo clinic, he was treated by Dr Paolo Giuliani, as well as Professor Nicola Galea, a radiologist at the Policlinico Umberto I hospital. “The Minister thanks everyone for the many messages of solidarity he has received, but reiterates that the situation is fully under control and that he has already returned to work, as usual,” concludes the Defence Ministry.
