Reggio Calabria: newborns found dead in wardrobe, mother under house arrest

Milan, Oct. 9 (LaPresse) – The woman accused of suffocating her two newborn babies, hiding their bodies, and of concealing the corpse of another baby (whose sex is unknown) born about three years ago, has been placed under house arrest. She was detained by officers from the Reggio Calabria Mobile Squad and is now under house arrest with an electronic bracelet, as ordered by the investigating judge of Reggio Calabria at the request of the local Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The bodies of the two babies were found in a wardrobe by the woman’s parents in July last year, in their home in the Pellaro district of Reggio Calabria.
