Rome, Oct. 14 (LaPresse) – Three carabinieri were killed and around 15 people injured following a large explosion during an eviction operation at a farmhouse in Castel d’Azzano, in the province of Verona. According to initial reconstructions, the three brothers who lived in the farmhouse allegedly filled the attic with gas to make it explode, because they did not want to leave the property. The blast, which occurred around 3 a.m., was heard for miles. Two people have reportedly been detained for the explosion.
