Farmhouse massacre: Maria Luisa Ramponi still in serious condition, remains intubated

Rome, 16 October (LaPresse) – Maria Luisa Ramponi, one of three siblings accused of causing the explosion of their farmhouse in Castel d’Azzano, near Verona, in which three police officers lost their lives, “remains intubated and continues to receive pharmacological and respiratory support”. This was announced in a bulletin from Borgo Trento Hospital, where the woman is being treated in the general intensive care unit, directed by Prof. Enrico Polati. ‘She is the most seriously ill of those hospitalised.’ Two police officers are also being treated at the hospital, and their conditions are described as ‘stable.’ For one of them, admitted to the burns unit, the prognosis was lifted yesterday: “he is alert and without fever”. The other police officer in the cardio-thoracic-vascular intensive care unit, directed by Prof. Leonardo Gottin, “is in a stable condition”.
