Santanché case: verdict within a year, charge is false accounting

Milan, 21 October. (LaPresse) – The Milan Court’s verdict on Daniela Santanchè, charged with false accounting along with 15 other managers and auditors of Visibilia for the 2016 and 2022 accounts, will be handed down before the end of the legislative term. This is what emerged from the evidence admission hearing held this morning before the new panel of judges of the second criminal section. After the replacement of two out of three magistrates due to their transfer to other roles and a long trial phase consisting of objections raised by the defence, President Giuseppe Cernuto, together with his colleagues Paola Filippini and Alessandra Di Fazio, set a busy schedule of 14 hearings to reach a verdict on the Minister of Tourism by 30 June 2026. At the latest, with nine additional “reserve” hearings, by 29 October 2026.
