Milan, Oct. 25 (LaPresse) – The Brescia Prosecutor’s Office has issued a new decree of evidentiary seizure against former Carabinieri officers of the Pavia judicial police, Silvio Sapone and Giuseppe Spoto. The measures, signed by prosecutor Claudia Moregola, were notified on Friday evening around 6:30 p.m., after the Brescia Review Court had annulled the previous seizure of computers, USB sticks and smartphones on September 26 in the case involving former deputy prosecutor Mario Venditti, under investigation for alleged corruption in judicial acts “to favor” Andrea Sempio in 2017 in the Garlasco murder investigation.
To the two former officers, who are not under investigation, the seizure was notified by the Brescia Guardia di Finanza and the Milan Carabinieri investigative unit at the same time as the order returning their electronic devices (the reasoning is expected within 30 days).
