Rome, Oct. 28 (LaPresse) – The judges of the Rome Court of Appeal have upheld in the second-instance trial the convictions of Fabio Corradetti, son of Giuliano Castellino’s partner, and five other defendants for the assault on the CGIL headquarters during the ‘no green pass’ demonstration on October 9, 2021. The judges of the second criminal section of the Rome Court of Appeal, following the referral of the case by the Supreme Court, sentenced Fabio Corradetti, Massimiliano Ursino, and Massimiliano Petri to six years, while Francesco Bellavista, Roberto Borra, and Federico Trocino were sentenced to four and a half years. The public prosecutor had requested the confirmation of all sentences. For Roberto Fiore, former Nar Luigi Aronica, and Giuliano Castellino, the appeal trial will begin on November 25. The charges include aggravated devastation in concert, multiple aggravated resistance to a public official, and incitement to commit crimes.
