Rome: Verdone “mayor for a day”, council approves two policy statements

Rome, 17 November (LaPresse) – Carlo Verdone’s day as mayor for a day began this morning. The Roman actor and director was welcomed to the Campidoglio by Mayor Roberto Gualtieri to take part in the council meeting held in the Sala delle Bandiere of the Palazzo Senatorio. Two policy briefs were approved. The first concerns the establishment of a dental and social psychology centre in Tor Bella Monaca. The second brief introduces new measures to support the city’s bookshops, recognised by the administration as cultural institutions currently in difficulty due to the crisis in the sector.
