Milan, 23 November (LaPresse) – ‘I believe that the real objective was to assert the principle that an Israeli team should not play in Bologna, and it was a form of blackmail used by those who did what we then saw, and we could not accept it.’ This was stated by Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi to Tg1 regarding the clashes that took place last Friday evening in Bologna during the Euroleague basketball match between Virtus and Maccabi.
