Ferragni case: influencer in court, prosecutor to seek conviction for fraud

Milan, 25 Nov. (LaPresse) – Chiara Ferragni, the entrepreneur-influencer accused of aggravated fraud through the use of information technology for cases of alleged misleading advertising on Pandoro Pink Christmas and Easter eggs branded “Ferragni” to support the association “Bambini delle Fate”, arrived at the Court in Milan about an hour before the hearing to escape the cameras. Today, before the president of the third criminal section, Judge Ilio Mannucci Pacini, Deputy Prosecutor Eugenio Fusco and Public Prosecutor Cristian Barilli, who coordinated the investigations of the Nucleo pef of the Guardia di Finanza, will ask the court to convict the 38-year-old, while the defence’s intervention will be postponed to a future hearing.
