Rome: Francesco Totti and Noemi Bocchi investigated for child abandonment, prosecutor requests dismissal

Rome, 25 Nov. (LaPresse) – The hearing related to the legal case involving Francesco Totti, his current partner Noemi Bocchi and the nanny also accused of forgery has been set for 1 December before the preliminary hearing judge at the Court of Rome. The Public Prosecutor’s Office has requested dismissal of the case against the former Roma captain, accused of leaving his daughter alone for several hours on an afternoon in May 2023. The incident was reported by his ex-wife Ilary Blasi. The nanny of the building is suspected of having falsely claimed to have been at home that afternoon. According to the Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office, however, there was never any real danger because the child had a phone with her to contact her mother and was in an environment where there were also older children and the nanny. Ilary Blasi’s lawyers argue that the child was alone in the flat and that the nanny had no formal assignment.
