It is much more than that, and a deeper understanding of it allows us to conceive of marriage in all its richness and fruitfulness. The issue is closely linked to the unitive purpose of sexuality, which is not limited to ensuring procreation, but helps to enrich and strengthen the unique and exclusive union and the feeling of mutual belonging.’ This can be read in “Una Caro.
