Milan, 2 December (LaPresse) – The photographs of Andrea Sempio outside Chiara Poggi’s home on the afternoon of 13 August 2007 ‘do nothing but confirm the truthfulness of what’ he ‘said’. This was the comment made by Angela Taccia, lawyer for the 37-year-old under investigation for the Garlasco murder, regarding the amateur photographs posted on social networks on Sunday and acquired by the Carabinieri of the Milan Investigation Unit. “I don’t understand what the news is really about,” explains Taccia. “At this point, we hope that there are also photos or videos of the ducal square in Vigevano on the morning of that tragic day, so as to remove any unnecessary doubts that have arisen regarding the receipt”. On 4 October 2008, Sempio, heard as a witness in the investigation into Alberto Stasi, told the Vigevano Public Prosecutor’s Office that he had driven past with his father “around 3 p.m.” in Via Pavia at the intersection with Via Pascoli in Garlasco and had noticed an ambulance and some people, and that he had returned “around 4 p.m.” and had also seen police officers and a “crowd” of people. He also stated that he had spoken to a journalist who told him that “a girl had been found dead”.
