Pope: last day of trip begins, Leo XIV at the Hospital de la Croix

Rome, 2 December (LaPresse) – The last day of Pope Leo XIV’s first apostolic trip begins. The Pontiff starts his day in Lebanon at the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Cross in Jal ed Dib, visiting the staff and patients of the Hospital de la Croix. The Pope will then go to the port of Beirut for a silent prayer at the site of the 2020 explosion, followed by Mass at the Beirut Waterfront. The return flight is scheduled to depart shortly before noon Italian time.
