Milan: 21-year-old arrested for stabbing young man in Piazza Duomo

Rome, 5 December (LaPresse) – The State Police, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Milan, arrested a 21-year-old Egyptian citizen, who was in the country illegally and already known to the police, on suspicion of attempted murder following the stabbing of a fellow countryman. On the evening of 25 November, a 19-year-old Egyptian citizen was seriously injured by two stab wounds, one to the abdomen and one to the chest, near a well-known fast food restaurant in Piazza Duomo. Due to his injuries, the victim was rushed to Fatebenefratelli Hospital, where he underwent immediate surgery. According to medical staff, without prompt treatment, the injuries could have been fatal for the young man.
