Milan, Dec. 12 (LaPresse) – The Rome Police Headquarters, led by Roberto Massucci, has put a stop to the traveling initiative, the patrols, announced by Forza Nuova for tomorrow, Dec. 13, at Sangalli Park. The ban was notified to the representatives of the Forza Nuova movement by the Rome Police Chief. “The event, which was merely communicated to the Police Headquarters by email and referred to by the organizers as a ‘safety walk’ – the Police Headquarters announced – was associated with a poster distributed by the aforementioned organization through social media channels, containing terminology that led to the belief that the initiative could take on connotations attributable to proselytizing activities aimed at recruiting members to the movement.” The manner in which the initiative was announced, it is explained, is ‘irregular’ and ‘not in accordance with the Consolidated Law on Public Security’. In any case, Forza Nuova representatives were “informed of the possibility of exercising their right to demonstrate in different ways, after formal notification, in compliance with the requirements of the law, to the public security authorities and subject to assessments regarding public order.”
