Caffo case: agreement approved, two years for abuse in appeal

Milan, 18 December. (LaPresse) – The First Criminal Section of the Milan Court of Appeal sentenced Leonardo Caffo to two years’ imprisonment for abuse, with a suspended sentence, accepting the settlement between the parties. The court acquitted the philosopher of the charge of bodily harm because the act did not constitute a crime. Caffo will have to undertake a programme for abusive men.
