Rome, Jan. 1 (LaPresse) – Last night, firefighters carried out 770 interventions for fires related to New Year’s celebrations, 112 fewer than last year, when there were 882. The highest number was in Emilia Romagna, with 114 interventions. Other interventions were recorded in Lombardy 113, Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige 77, Campania and Tuscany 69, Puglia 68, Piedmont 63, Lazio 61, Friuli Venezia Giulia 36, Liguria 31, Marche 24, Sicily 16, Abruzzo 12, Basilicata 8, Calabria 6, Umbria 3, Sardinia and Molise 0.
