Milan, 9 January (LaPresse) – Autopsies will be performed next week on the bodies of Chiara Costanzo and Achille Barosi, the two 16-year-olds from Milan who were victims of the New Year’s Eve massacre in Crans-Montana. The Milan Public Prosecutor, Marcello Viola, who on Thursday was delegated by the Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office, the sole authority in charge of the case of multiple homicide and negligent arson, assigned the task of coordinating the forensic examinations of the victims’ bodies, which were not carried out in Switzerland, to Public Prosecutor Carlo Scalas. The deputy ordered the bodies to be held after the funerals to allow for the investigations. An identical delegation relating to the autopsies was sent from the Rome office headed by Francesco Lo Voi to the Public Prosecutor’s Offices in Genoa and Bologna.
