Milan, 11 January (LaPresse) – Leonardo Bove, the 16-year-old injured in the fire in Crans-Montana, has arrived at Niguarda Hospital in Milan. The young man had previously been hospitalised in Zurich. He has burns over 50% of his body and damage caused by inhaling toxic fumes. This brings the number of patients admitted to Niguarda to 12: each of them is considered to be in serious condition and their prognosis is uncertain. The arrival of the 16-year-old at Niguarda was announced in the afternoon by the Lombardy Regional Welfare Councillor Guido Bertolaso: “We have had the go-ahead from the Swiss doctors for the transfer and the weather conditions offer us a useful window for the journey,” explained Bertolaso. The Areu helicopter from the Bergamo base, with the medical team on board, left for Zurich and returned to Niguarda in the evening.
