Gaza, Parolin: ‘Vatican has received invitation to Board of Peace’

Rome, 21 Jan. (LaPresse) – The Board of Peace? ‘We too have received this invitation. The Pope has received it and we are considering what to do. It is a matter that requires some time to be considered and to give a response.’ This was stated by the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, on the sidelines of the event “An international dialogue to connect young people to the future” at the Antonianum in Rome. Regarding a possible commitment by the Vatican, Parolin specified that the commitment would not be ‘financial, we are not in a position to do so.’
