Rivisondoli (L’Aquila), Jan 25 (LaPresse) – “We are working on it; there is interministerial dialogue, as always happens. We are at a good stage of the process. I believe I can say that by the first week of next month it can go to the Council of Ministers.” This was stated by Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi regarding the security package, on the sidelines of the League’s event ‘Ideas in motion’ in Rivisondoli (L’Aquila). “The issue of the rise in juvenile crime is certainly linked to second generations of foreigners, but it also concerns Italians. And it is an issue that certainly calls for interventions, multidisciplinary ones, because repressive tools are useful, but it is also necessary to put in place measures that in some way restore guidance to these young people. We are doing this very effectively with the ‘Caivano model’, with a law that has provided for another nine locations across the country like Caivano, where formulas can be tested, including proposals, in short, for the recovery of the territory and opportunities for young people. It is a long process, but this is the direction we need to take,” Piantedosi concluded.
