Niscemi, Gela prosecutor opens file for negligent disaster

Palermo, Jan. 28 (LaPresse) – The chief prosecutor of Gela, Salvatore Vella, has opened a file for negligent disaster regarding the Niscemi landslide. At the moment, the investigation is against unknown persons. Codacons announces the “submission of a complaint to the Gela Prosecutor’s Office for the hypothesis of negligent disaster, in relation to the serious hydrogeological instability affecting the territory of Niscemi, where the recent landslide events have exposed the population to a concrete and current danger.”
