Rome, 30 January (LaPresse) – In a ruling handed down today, the Constitutional Court upheld the constitutionality question raised by the defence lawyers of the four agents accused in the trial for the death of Giulio Regeni. The question concerns the right to defence in relation to the costs of technical consultancy that the defendants’ lawyers, all appointed by the court, are required to bear. The trial can now resume.
