Middle East: Death toll rises to 19 in Israeli raid on Gaza, 6 of whom are children

Milan, 31 January (LaPresse) – The death toll from this morning’s Israeli attacks on Gaza City and Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip has risen to at least 19, including 6 children. This was reported by Al-Jazeera, citing medical sources. According to a source at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, as reported to Al-Jazeera, the death toll rose after seven people were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted the police headquarters in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood of the city. Earlier reports had indicated that five people had been killed in the centre of Gaza City and another seven in the al-Mawasi area in southern Gaza.
