Rome, Feb. 4 (LaPresse) – The ANP President, Antonello Giannelli, sent a letter last night to the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, to “bring to your attention the situation that has arisen in the municipality of Niscemi following recent and dramatic events that have significantly affected the social and family life of the local community.”
In the letter, Giannelli emphasized that “these events have caused objective difficulties for many families in obtaining information, participating in orientation activities, and proceeding calmly and consciously with the enrollment of their children in schools of all levels for the 2026/2027 academic year, within the deadlines currently set by ministerial regulations.”
The ANP President asked the Minister “to ensure the full exercise of the right to education by granting an appropriate extension of the enrollment deadlines, limited to the schools in that area, thus allowing the affected families to avoid further hardship.”
