Federica Torzullo’s funeral, parish priest: ‘The right to report news must not violate other rights’

Anguillara Sabazia, 7 February (LaPresse) – “Let us leave it to the investigators, to those who will have to support Federica’s son and his loved ones, to do what they can, without interference, without meddling, with simple curiosity masked by a right to report the news that cannot violate all the other inalienable rights of the individual. It will be difficult to remove and forget even small portions of our great suffering, but we want and must try in the hope that similar tragedies will never happen again.” These were the words of Don Quattrini, parish priest of the Regina Pacis church in Anguillara, during his homily at Federica Torzullo’s funeral.
