Physicist Antonino Zichichi has died at the age of 96

Milan, 9 February (LaPresse) – Antonino Zichichi, physicist and science communicator specialising in elementary particle physics, has died at the age of 96. He had been professor emeritus of the Department of Physics at the University of Bologna since 2006 and was known to the general public above all for his work as a science communicator, being a prolific author of books and essays, and for his television appearances.
