Naples, 14 Feb. (LaPresse) – “At the Monaldi Hospital, they apparently opposed the opinion of the Bambino Gesù Hospital, which stated that the child, transplanted with a ‘burned heart’ and hospitalized at Monaldi Hospital in Naples, would no longer be transplantable.” This was reported by the child’s family lawyer, Francesco Petruzzi, during the program Mi manda Raitre. “The opposition came from the doctor who operated on him, who maintains that he is still transplantable and therefore remains on the transplant list for now,” the lawyer added. “It will be the same doctor who performed the operation—who I assume is under investigation—who will operate again, so this morning I have to go to the judicial police to file an integration to the complaint. It’s a very strange case,” he concluded.
