Rogoredo, witnesses: ‘Cinturrino also wanted money from drug addicts’

Milan, 21 February (LaPresse) – Assistant Chief Carmelo Cinturrino allegedly demanded money on a daily basis from drug dealers and even drug addicts in Corvetto and Rogoredo. This is what a number of these people claim, who, since the evening of 26 January 2026, when the police officer shot and killed drug dealer Abderrahim Mansouri in Via Impastato, reported this to the lawyers of 28-year-old Debora Piazza and Marco Romagnoli, who provided a list of names to be heard by the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office and the mobile squad investigating him and four other police officers from the Mecenate Police Station for voluntary manslaughter, aiding and abetting, and failure to provide assistance. The demands for money and drugs were made on a daily basis, in the order of €100-200 per day. “He lined us up,” is the summary of one of the accounts provided by drug addicts who knew the 42-year-old officer. In the neighbourhood, he did not go by his real name, Carmelo, but by the pseudonym “Luca”. One of them said he had been extorted for “€9 in coins” because he had no other cash. The reliability of these accounts must be assessed by investigators, also in light of their origin, but they are consistent among numerous people who allegedly suffered demands for money and drugs.
