Bergamo, 25 Feb. (LaPresse) – “We will certainly appeal. He was calm and was expecting a life sentence because it had been requested; Sangare was prepared for this possibility.” This was stated by lawyer Tiziana Bacicca, defense counsel for Moussa Sangare, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Sharon Verzeni, stabbed to death on the night between July 29 and 30, 2024, in Terno d’Isola, in the province of Bergamo.
Bacicca explained that all the aggravating circumstances contested against her client were recognized: premeditation, trivial motives, and the victim’s diminished capacity to defend herself.
