Bergamo, 25 February (LaPresse) – The trial of Moussa Sangare, an Italian of Malian origin, accused of the murder of Sharon Verzeni, the 33-year-old barista who was stabbed to death on the night between 29 and 30 July 2024 in Terno d’Isola, in the province of Bergamo, before the Court of Assizes of Bergamo, presided over by Patrizia Ingrascì. The victim’s family and her partner, Sergio Ruocco, are present in the courtroom, represented by lawyer Luigi Scudieri. The defendant, defended by lawyer Tiziana Bacicca, is also in the courtroom. Sangare faces life imprisonment: he is accused of aggravated murder with premeditation, futile motives and the victim’s diminished defence.
