Naples transplant, Tg1: ‘Prosecutor investigates two other suspicious cases’

Rome, 27 February (LaPresse) – The case of little Domenico, who died after receiving a transplant with a damaged heart, may not be an isolated incident. According to information obtained by Tg1, the Naples Public Prosecutor’s Office is also investigating two other suspicious transplants at Monaldi Hospital, which are the focus of the Naples Public Prosecutor’s Office. Meanwhile, prosecutors are evaluating the conduct of the paediatric cardiac surgery department, which is under investigation following the death of two-year-old Domenico.
