Naples, clashes between activists and police in Bagnoli: officer injured

Naples, Mar. 3 (LaPresse) – Clashes in Bagnoli between police and activists from the ‘No America’s Cup’ network, who tried to reach the Municipal headquarters, where a single-topic session of the Naples City Council is taking place on work in the former Italsider area of Bagnoli and the hosting of the America’s Cup. Some activists attempted to break through the police cordon protecting the area near the Municipal headquarters. During the clashes, a police officer was injured. One protester was taken to the police station, and their situation is under review.
