Crosetto case, the Minister of Defence: ‘I have no interests in Dubai. Meloni furious? No, excellent relations.’

Milan, 4 March (LaPresse) – ‘I have never changed my story, neither when I wrote the first post on X, nor in Parliament’ and ‘I have no interest in Dubai’. This was stated by Defence Minister Guido Crosetto to Corriere della Sera. When asked if the Prime Minister was angry with him over the “Dubai affair” and not furious, Crosetto replied: ‘No, I talk to her all the time and our relationship is excellent. No one can say she was furious with me because she wasn’t at all. We spoke again today (yesterday, ed.) while I was flying to Belgrade. The rest is uncommentable.’ He added: “It has been written that she was cold, but that is completely untrue. Did you hear her on TV? She said that I never stopped working”. When asked by Corriere della Sera why he had arrived in Dubai without an escort, Crosetto replied: “For three years, I have never travelled with an escort when I am with my family, never”.
