Milan, 11 March (LaPresse) – A fire broke out this morning on a Milan tram on line 27 in Via Marco Bruto, in the Forlanini area, for reasons yet to be determined. As reported by Corriere della Sera, images filmed at the scene show the presence of fire brigade vehicles, local police and Milanese Transport Company security personnel with the tram stationary, which does not appear to have suffered significant damage and is being attached to a tow truck to be moved, and some metal objects blackened by smoke and fire lying on the ground along the tracks of the line that runs between Viale Ungheria and Piazza Fontana. All the passengers on board were unharmed and left the tram after it came to a halt at around 9.20 a.m.
