Bergamo: student stabs teacher outside school; she is in a serious condition

Rome, 25 Mar. (LaPresse) – A 58-year-old woman was stabbed this morning, Wednesday 25 March, in Trescore Balneario, in the province of Bergamo. The incident took place shortly before 8 am near the comprehensive school in Via Damiano Chiesa. According to initial reports, the victim is believed to be a French teacher and the attack is thought to have been carried out by a student, for reasons that are still under investigation. The woman was treated at the scene and rushed by air ambulance to the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo.
