Iran, Navy: “Ready for Hormuz demining once conflict ends”

Rome, Apr. 22 (LaPresse) – “We have a high mine-clearing capability, we are a leading nation in this field” and “we have technologically advanced equipment”. For this reason, “the Navy is ready” for a possible mine-clearing intervention in the Strait of Hormuz. This was stated by the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Giuseppe Berutti Bergotto, in the Defence Committee in the Chamber of Deputies. The intervention will only be possible “when the conflict has ended”, Berutti Bergotto explained.
