Pope Leo XIV: ‘Promoting concrete initiatives is the way to achieve peace’

Rome, 2 May (LaPresse) – “Promoting genuine progress through concrete initiatives” is “a sure way to foster harmony between communities and individuals”. So said Pope Leo XIV as he received members of the Papal Foundation in audience. “Your generosity has enabled countless people to experience God’s goodness and kindness in a tangible way within their communities,” the Pope emphasised. “Many priests and consecrated men and women have also been able to receive advanced education at the Pontifical Universities of Rome, which would otherwise not have been possible, preparing them to become future leaders of the Church.”
