Milan, 3 May (LaPresse) – Tragedy on Rome’s Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) ring road, where a 35-year-old man died after being hit by a car whilst stopping to help a motorist who had been involved in a single-vehicle accident. Three other people were injured, classified as ‘yellow’ cases. The incident occurred at around 5.15 am at kilometre 40.700 of the GRA, near the Tuscolana exit. Although there are no CCTV cameras on that stretch of road, according to the reconstruction of events, two motorists had stopped to assist the first car, which had probably overturned but without serious consequences for the driver. At that moment, a fourth car arrived and struck the 35-year-old. Traffic police attended the scene.
