Cape Canaveral (USA), 22 May (LaPresse/AP) – Starship, SpaceX’s latest and most impressive spacecraft, will have to wait at least another day before it can undertake a test flight from Texas. On Thursday evening, the launch team was just half a minute away from launching the mega-rocket, but a series of last-minute problems caused a delay. SpaceX has stated that it may try again on Friday. The 124-metre-long rocket is using a brand-new launch pad at Starbase, near the border with Mexico, and this may have contributed to some of the problems encountered. NASA is counting on this latest version of Starship to land astronauts on the Moon in a few years’ time.
