Rome, May 29 (LaPresse) – He arrived at the emergency room of Sant’Eugenio Hospital in an obviously intoxicated state and, annoyed by the wait time, caused a disturbance that disrupted the work of the medical staff. For this reason, a 57-year-old man of North African origin, already known to law enforcement for prior crimes against property and persons, was reported by the Carabinieri for disruption of public services. The incident occurred yesterday evening, shortly after 9:30 p.m., inside the emergency room of the Roman hospital. According to the reconstruction of events, the man became agitated, creating a dangerous situation for healthcare workers and others present. During the incident, he also physically assaulted the security guard on duty. The Carabinieri intervened on the scene, restored calm, and reported the 57-year-old while he remained at liberty.
