Rome, May 31 (LaPresse) – The Ministry of Health reports that investigations are underway regarding a patient who returned from the Congo and is currently in Cagliari. The patient, who is showing symptoms, has been tested for Ebola; the test results will be analyzed by the Spallanzani Institute in Rome this evening. The patient is currently in isolation at a hospital. The Ministry of Health is in contact with local health authorities in Sardinia and with the Spallanzani Institute to monitor the situation. The Ministry of Health reiterates that the risk remains very low in Italy.
