Milan, 4 June (LaPresse) – The Court of Florence has dismissed the charges against Silvio Berlusconi’s former right-hand man, Marcello Dell’Utri, in the Florence Public Prosecutor’s Office’s investigation into the alleged hidden instigators of the Mafia massacres of 1993-94. The Florence investigating magistrate, Patrizia Martucci, ordered the dismissal of the case against one of the founders of Forza Italia, represented by lawyer Francesco Centonze, noting the absence of “concrete evidence” regarding “direct contacts or relations between Cosa Nostra and Silvio Berlusconi, and therefore Marcello Dell’Utri”. The dismissal order dates back more than five months.
