Avellino: 10-year-old boy run over and killed by a jeep in front of his father

Rome, 22 June (LaPresse) – A 10-year-old boy has died after being hit by a Jeep. The boy was riding a mini-motorbike along the road linking Lauro to Moschiano – in the province of Avellino – when, for reasons still under investigation, he was struck by a Jeep. His father, who was not far away, is reported to have witnessed the incident. The boy’s condition appeared to be extremely critical from the outset and he died as a result of the injuries sustained in the collision. The police are currently investigating the incident. Carabinieri and 118 emergency medical staff were at the scene.
