Rome, June 24 (LaPresse) – “This crime has deeply affected the Italian community, undermining the fundamental constitutional rights of Italian citizens abroad.” With these words, the representative of the State Legal Service, constituted in the trial for the murder of Giulio Regeni, supported the compensation request made by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The amount requested is two million euros from the four Egyptian intelligence officers accused of the kidnapping, torture and killing of Giulio Regeni.
