Lucca, 3 July (LaPresse) – At 11.45 this morning, a man aged around 80 entered the Rehabilitation Ward of the Versilia Hospital in Lido di Camaiore (Lucca) and stabbed his 67-year-old ex-wife, before throwing himself out of a third-floor window. Paramedics from the 118 emergency service arrived immediately and attempted to resuscitate both of them, but were forced to confirm the deaths of both the woman and her ex-husband. The woman had been hospitalised in a serious condition for three weeks and her ex-husband had been visiting her regularly. The police are investigating the incident.
